Important note: Any items shared with portal users shares it with all portal users, past, present, and future.
Items like notes, incidents, and attachments can be shared with CaseStream Connect portal users. Events are automatically shared with approved portal users.
Sharing new items with portal users #
When creating a new item in YouthCenter, if it can be shared with portal users, you will find an Add to Portal button next to the Share and Add to Daily Log buttons. Simply select the Add to Portal button before pressing save.
Sharing existing items with portal users #
Existing items can be shared with portal users by editing the item and pressing the Add to Portal button before pressing save.
Items shared this way will show up for portal users in reverse chronological order. If the portal user has multiple associated clients, the item will indicate which client it relates to.
